The autistic spectrum has gained special relevance in today's society, with an increase in its prevalence, greater concern for early diagnosis, therapeutic interventions and the observation of different evolutions. In this article, three evolutionary trajectories are presented, and analyses are made on issues concerning the different psychopathological developments in a mental health framework. The importance of early diagnosis, early individual therapeutic strategies, different evolutionary trajectories and the implications of psychiatric and physical comorbidities are highlighted.
